I had a pretty relaxed day on Thursday. I slept in, and then met a new Italian friend--Martina-- and we went to the museum together. This was my second time going to the museum, but this time we looked at a different part of the museum. They had a special section dealing with the history of Birmingham, so I got to learn about how different things like World War II and industrialization changed the landscape of the city. I also got to look at Egyptian artifacts, wood artifacts, and some other things too. After this I just went back to the hostel, finished my book and wrote a little bit.
